Our 'Staff'

Hamish

HAMISH
16.2hh Bay Thoroughbred/Cleveland Bay Gelding

Hamish was born on the farm and is the largest horse we have. He has an enormous personality and we look forward to introducing him into the program very soon.

Favorite things: - Getting into trouble.

Messy

ADRIAN MESSENGER
16.1hh Dark Brown Percheron/Thoroughbred Gelding

"Messy" spends most of his time trying to find something bad to do. That could be ripping a blanket, breaking a fence or biting and teasing his pasture buddy. He is perfectly named as he makes very big messes, but one look into his big, brown, kind eyes and he is forgiven.

Favorite things: - Getting into mischief.

Sampson

SAMPSON
14.2hh Appaloosa Gelding

Sammy is a large pony who was given to us by a family who was moving out of the area and couldn't take him with them. They were interested in our program and thought Sammy could help many people. He has proved a great asset to us; he is very reactive and does give us great feedback when working with clients. He loves his smaller pasture buddies and tries to teach them how to behave.

Favorite things: - Sunscreen for his pink nose on sunny days.

Clyde

CLYDE
14.1hh Chestnut Quarter Horse Gelding

Clyde has come to EquiTeam from the Western world. He was trained as a reining horse however never grew tall enough to succeed in this field. The team members at EquiTeam rescued Clyde from the side of a mountain - he was under weight and neglected. Clyde is thoroughly enjoying his new job as a therapy horse.

Favorite things: - Love, hugs, and kisses.

Tasty Kake

TASTY KAKE
13.2hh Brown & White Gelding

Tasty came out of retirement to be part of our program and with a new purpose in life. He thinks he is very important. Tasty is a Chincoteague Pony and has had a very exciting and successful career.

Favorite things: - His new pasture buddy.

Trusty

TRUSTY
10.1hh Black & White Pony Gelding

Trusty is the smallest in the barn, but has a big personality. He likes to make mean faces, but as much as he tries and pretends he can't be bad.

Favorite things: - Getting dirty and escaping.
